Today, I awoke to snow covered trees, the Christmas spirit was in full effect...I made coffee, wrapped presents and searched the web for more Christmas gift options. I can't wait to see my family in a couple weeks! Jake is talking like crazy..he will occasionally say, "Hi Line Line" on the phone. Mattie is all grown up...we catch up on the phone when something big has happened, like her big news, "It was so crazy today at school. The lockers fell on the 8th graders because they weren't properly installed". I asked her if anyone got hurt or cried. Her response was, "No silly, they are 8th graders, they don't cry". Morgan is miss talker and loves to talk on the phone. I can expect a phone call from her about once a week. There is no saying what she will talk about..anything from, "Aunt Line Line, I don't know why I fight with my sister. I just can't help it"..to..."School is fun, but there is this really bossy girl and she is really annoying, but I am bossy a lot too". She cracks me up! Though I seldom miss Rochester, Christmas comes alive with N.Y. snow and my family!
We've been busy Christmas decorating...

These past couple months have been eventful...Mike is still busy with in-home counseling and his clients keep him on his feet (especially the special five year old that likes to run away from him in the mall and hide in clothing racks). Oh and yes, football, basketball and soccer are all a huge part of our marriage. I am officially a UVA soccer fan! We've been to many games, which is really fun to watch live. However, I can only say that I have been converted into a Redskins & Michigan football fan with a wink (don't tell Mike :). Don't worry dad, I still give a shout out to the Buffalo Bills!
Here we are after another UVA soccer victory..."Go Hoos"

A couple months ago, we were able to visit friends in MI, where Mike was able to go to The Big House and see the Michigan vs. Notre Dame game. For those football savvy folks out there, you know this was an awesome game to be at! It was an amazing trip with great friends!

I wish all my family and friends a great holiday season and hope to see some Christmas pictures soon :)
